While driving back from Flam to Hovden, we stopped at several places. One of the impressive locations was near the glacier lake Stavatn. Hotel Haukeliseter is situated just off the highway E134 where one can overnight.  The place was so scenic, I regretted several times for not booking this hotel for overnighting.img_5884

img_5668On the return journey from Flam to Kristiansand, we stayed a night at Hovden. It was late afternoon when we reached Hovden. There was nobody at the reception of the Guesthouse that we had booked. After calling up came to know that they had left the key in the post box in an envelope. Whole building seemed unoccupied. From outside buildings seemed old, but inside they were cozy. Balcon was facing a graveyard. There were no cars in the whole garage which was big enough for at least 20 cars.img_6000We spotted this lovely bird in our balcony.img_5712We had food and went to explore the areas around by walk. The stream was flowing in full fury and a passerby warned to be careful about kids.img_5987

img_5992Next morning we started early so that we can reach Khristiansand by noon. We took a break at Setedal to have food. After walking in the woods for several minutes we reached this lovely bench near the stream, where we had our food.img_6060
