As we reached Kristiansand by noon, we had whole evening and next morning as our ferry to Hirtschals was next day afternoon 4pm. We checked into the hotel and spent whole evening near the shore. Next morning we visited the famous Kristiansand Opera House and Dom Cathedral.

It was time for a pizza….first time had Cashew as pizza topping and it was yummy. on to the ferry…Sky was clear and it was sunny. so we could fully enjoy being on deck of the ferry. At times we could see rainbows in the waves created by our ferry.  Reached Hirtshals by 7:30 pm and we still had time to visit the beach. It was chilly and windy. Water was ice cold, but that did not stop the kids from enjoying. For us it was time to recollect all our memories. And our trip to Norway was coming to an end with a hope to visit again. Next day we were to drive 940km at a stretch from Hirtshals to Leverkusen and get back to normal routine.
